The Solution Manager works closely with assigned accounts, brokers, carriers and our Client Services Team. This position is responsible for servicing of clients in a manner that promotes account retention. Responsibilities include effectively developing an implementation strategy and enrollment timeline, developing enrollment communication material to include in an enrollment guide, product knowledge, and serving as a liaison between the client and the carriers to resolve billing, administrative and claim issues. Solution Managers also mentor and train their Assistant Solution Managers, with a focus on preparing them for advancement to the Solution Manager role. Accurate and timely processing of business is essential.
The Assistant Solution Manager provides assistance to Solution Managers and our clients. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with the development of set-up guides, implementation guides and benefit guides; putting together enrollment kits and benefit guides; and providing technical support on how to use Benefitfirst to our clients via our Benefits Helpline. Content Specialist helps with the development and implementation of content for websites. May assist writers and designers in producing a final layout for web and print material in accordance with company standards. Relies on established guidelines and instructions to perform daily functions. Works under immediate supervision and reports to the Operations Manager. The Business Development Specialist is responsible for supporting Business Development Consultants (BDCs) in procuring new groups and renewing existing groups. Responsibilities include but are not limited to conducting webcasts and seminars, preparing proposals and service agreements, confirming census data, developing RFPs, delivering RFPs to appropriate carriers/TPAs, preparing executive summaries, and reviewing options with assigned BDC(s). Business Development Specialists coordinate with the appropriate BDCs and Solution Managers on assigned groups.
The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for inputting incoming commissions and service fees based on effective date, as well as updating them periodically throughout the year. They will also be setting up new policies in the commission tracking system. The candidate needs to be proficient in Excel with strong mathematical skills and analytical ability. The person also needs to be flexible and have the ability to see the big picture and work in a team setting and ability to work with others. The Accounting Assistant will work closely with the accounting team to identify and correct commission variances, assist with general maintenance of commission tracking system, develop and maintain spreadsheets to track missing commissions, work with carriers regarding missing commission issues, and assist with special audit projects as needed.
The Manager will manage the daily operations and strategic objectives of the company's accounting department to include: management of accounting staff, proper invoicing within standard polices reflective of the customers service agreements, maintenance and management of all accounts receivable business functions and procedures for the accounts receivable collection process. The Manager will also verify accurate carrier commission splits based on policy splits with other brokers.
